With over a decade of editorial experience, Lavanya works on communications and outreach at CEEP, supporting research teams in sharing their work with diverse audiences. She contributes to publication outreach, dissemination strategies, and multi-channel communications to make research more accessible, while also supporting ongoing engagement with journalists, media organisations, and sector partners.

Previously, she worked across editorial roles supporting campaigns and storytelling initiatives on education, culture, public health, and community engagement. She also founded a series of creative workshops in Jaipur, creating spaces for skill-sharing and experimentation.

Outside work, Lavanya enjoys gardening, baking, caring for stray dogs, and travelling to forests. A line she returns to often is Mary Oliver’s: “Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.”
