At CEEP, Siddhant works on electricity governance, contributing to research and analysis that aim to align economic growth with energy equity and justice. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from IIT Guwahati, where he developed a critical lens on economic policy, sustainable transitions, and the social systems that shape economic participation and opportunity. In the past, Siddhant has led projects in socio-economic research, international trade, and strategic consulting. His field experience implementing livelihood policies in Jharkhand deepened his belief that meaningful governance must begin by listening to the people it seeks to serve.
Beyond work, Siddhant often turns to the night sky, not for answers, but for better questions. He loves to explore the depths of the universe and write about what he discovers, believing that critical inquiry into the human condition must stretch across disciplines and geographies. For him, imagination is as vital as evidence in navigating change. He values precision yet embraces pause. And in a world captivated by the transient, he is drawn to what endures and resonates across time. He is driven by his own idea - “The universe offers no miracles. Wake up and meet the day with your own hands”.
